From Uber driver to Software Analyst at Blackstone - my journey into tech has been anything but conventional.
After driving for Uber for over five years, I made a bold decision to pursue my passion for technology. I enrolled in a software engineering bootcamp and immersed myself in web development. The path wasn't easy - I faced setbacks and doubts - but my determination to build technology that improves lives kept me going.
Today, as a Full-Stack Software Developer at Blackstone (currently an Analyst, on track for Associate promotion), I work extensively with React.js, Express, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. While I'm proficient across the full stack, my true passion lies in frontend development - building beautiful, responsive, modern websites with React.
I've embraced AI as a powerful development tool, primarily building projects with Anthropic's Claude Sonnet, and also working with OpenAI's ChatGPT. I believe in combining traditional software engineering principles with cutting-edge AI capabilities to build solutions that solve real problems.
Whether it's helping my Caribbean community achieve financial goals through collaborative savings, or making Bible study more accessible through technology - every project I take on is driven by a desire to create meaningful impact.

A bilingual (English/French) Bible study learning management system where teachers create PowerPoint-style lessons packed with verses, images, quizzes, and vocabulary. Students can take assessments, track progress, and grow through structured biblical courses.
A comprehensive digital platform for the Chant d'Espérance (Haitian Protestant hymnal) and Christian worship songs. Features powerful search by lyrics, bilingual French/Kreyòl support, and serves as a one-stop resource for Jesus-centered spiritual songs for the Haitian Christian community.
A comprehensive church event and announcement platform with mobile apps for iOS and Android, a shared web view for events, and a full admin dashboard for superusers. Complete with backend API deployed on Heroku.
A modern Caribbean-style group saving app ("sousou") where friends and families contribute together and rotate payouts. Currently paused at Stripe integration stage.
A volunteer scheduling system for churches, built as a mono-repo for admins to manage ministry shifts and assign service roles efficiently.
A multilingual church website supporting English, French, Haitian Creole, and Spanish. Features live streams, events, and messages to serve a diverse congregation.
